Trump to visit France and England amid D-Day commemorations

Previous to his visit, I would like to demand every member of his administration to be briefed on what has happened during D-Day, so that we can avoid the fauxpas that we were sadly to experience the year before. We don't need any further exhibition of his administration's incapability to recall historic events of this expense. Thanks a lot!

The amount of money spent, fighting over that land, is unjustifiable. You could have built Atlantis for half the price.
This is not a question of money, it is a question of religion. Abramistic religions, designed to promote the idea of a official unified world government.
This is a German project (a project of the German aristocracy), the Jews are only involuntary executors here, those to whom the German aristocracy want to transfer all the responsibility for their attempt to form a new world government. This project is over 100 years old:

The Baltimore Consort - Yonder comes A Courteous Knight

Wishing you all people of various beliefs a Good Friday. Even if you may not be a believing Christian, you might just enjoy a free Friday, therefore an extended weekend. At least here in Germany, this is the case, and I hope so for you too. The sun shines down the earth, it's comfortingly warm outside. And I am sitting here, listening to my music, covered from the sun. 😁

Runaway Negro Creek changed to Freedom Creek due to offensive name

On Thursday the U.S. Board on Geographic Names voted to make things right and change the name of the waterway called Runaway Negro Creek, to Freedom Creek, after residents lobbied to remove the culturally insensitive term, Savannah Now reports.

According to a press release from Sen. Lester Jackson (D-District 2), the name change was originally proposed after a public interest meeting during the summer of 2017, where residents voiced concerns saying it was culturally insensitive.
And only two years later, they finally made it, found this creek a new name. And so creative!, to call it Freedom Creek, because African-American slaves may have found their freedom when running down this creek. Great!

Notre Dame

I just saw some video posted by a French firefighter which makes it look as though the situation at Notre Dame is not nearly as dire as it could be. The outer roof burned, but it appears the vaulted ceilings held. Hopefully the nave itself is mostly untouched.

"We have a backup."

In 2015, art historian Andrew Tallon used 360° cameras and laser scanners to create a meticulously detailed interior and exterior model of Notre Dame Cathedral to millimeter-scale precision, capturing over a billion data points from fifty locations in and around the cathedral.

Notre Dame, already in the process of restoration, now needs a much more extensive restoration following yesterday's fire. But probably no historic building restoration ever before has had more complete and precise data available from which to restore it.

The detective who documented his job in a scrapbook

When Howe, born Simeon H. Hunt, moved to Denver, Colorado, after serving as a Union soldier in the Civil War, he became one of Denver’s first police officers. “He was a mysterious, quiet, shy, almost reclusive little man,” explains Clark Secrest, author of Hell’s Belles: Prostitution, Vice, and Crime in Early Denver. “But he put in many years on the police department, and he was well regarded in the community.”

owe wanted to develop a way to keep track of the people he had apprehended and connect them with other transgressions they had committed throughout the years, so he began meticulously hunting for connections and documenting them in scrapbooks. He got the idea from the newspapermen of the time, many of whom he had developed strong relationships with. He noticed that they kept track of their stories by clipping related articles in case they needed to do a follow-up. He decided to give it a try.

Not only did other officers use Howe’

Passover Haggadah illustrations digitalised, publicly accessible

The medieval manuscript dates back to the late 14th century, when it was made in Milan (in Italy’s Lombardy region). It comes from the workshop of the artist Giovannino de Grassi, who died in 1398, and it likely could not have been made prior to 1387. In that year, Duke Gian Galeazzo Visconti extended new rights to the Jews of Lombardy, who, according to Israel’s Museum of the Jewish People, had been expelled from the region in 1320. Though it tells the same story as any other, this Haggadah takes on added significance as a tangible example of its themes—a document of a moment in time when Lombard’s Jews felt their persecution abating.

But perhaps the most interesting visual aspect of the Lombard Haggadah is its illustrations of the “Labors of the Month,” the different tasks associated with each month of the year. Drawings of the Labors were common in medieval Christian Books of Hours; their inclusion here testifies to the influence of the broad

May deliberately places «Festival of Britain» in year of the Irish civil war's 100th anniversary

What is now the Irish republic became the Irish Free State in 1922, while Northern Ireland remained part of the UK. A civil war erupted among Irish nationalists over the remaining links with Britain and raged for a year. Sunder Katwala, the report’s author, said: “Holding a festival of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in 2022, on the centenary of Ireland’s partition and civil war, would be the worst possible timing. It is only likely to heighten tensions between communities – and that’s before we know Brexit’s implications for the border. Right across the UK, a festival so closely associated with Brexit may only reinforce divides when it could be bridging them.”
I don't even believe that her announcement in this centenary event was a simple coincidence. I mean, why would you announce to hold such a festival in three years, where suddenly, public figures have to remind her that it would correla... show more

Today the old City Hall station—closed since 1945—is popular with urban explorers. If you want to avoid a criminal trespass charge, you can take a sanctioned tour, available only to members of the New York Transit Museum. But be warned: Tickets only go on sale three times a year and sell out quickly.

The next round of tickets goes on sale to members on April 17. It is “one of our most popular behind-the-scenes tours,” says Regina Asborno, deputy director of the New York Transit Museum.

The famous HyperZionist Avraam Shmulevich reports:
The result of the elections in Israel is falsified. Religious Zionists for the first time in the history of the state outside the Knesset.
Before her, the only person who wanted and could do this was prof. Yaakov Neeman. Outstanding lawyer politician. As soon as he was appointed Minister of Justice and began the reform of the judicial system (Netanyahu appointed him, like Shaked), the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against him, and the police launched an investigation. As soon as prof. Naaman went on the line - the case was closed. Shaked once said in plain text that the case was fabricated.
And here the minister came again, who could and wanted to reform the system, reforms really began. But suddenly the pariah Shakeld was thrown out of political life, did not go to the Knesset. Lacked about a thousand votes. Then, for the first time in the history of the Israeli elections, there was an incompre
