I wrote a lot of #!/bin/bash scripts. 😥 But I stopped. I hope some days I will run #NetBSD again.

I reported yet another #NetBSD bug. Perhaps it isn't a bug but my stupidity. However, I should try.

And if you disagree with this statement, please compare and contrast the bloated monstrosity of CentOS / Red Hat with the elegant sparseness that is #NetBSD.

@fitheach

Nope this is my world domination plan: do a #pkgsrc pbulk on #Slackware and try to cross-compile #NetBSD over #Slackware as well. And all of this in little LXC containers.

Because that's how I roll.

And I hate Macron with a vengeance (but you knew that already, right?)

NetBSD introduces KLEAK, new util to detect kernel information leaks Combined with compiler instrumentation and rotation
of the markers, it is able to yield relevant results with little effort.
KLEAK already detected directly 12 kernel info leaks, and prompted changes
that in total fixed 25+ leaks.

… aaaand #NetBSD on the #Pinebook is just a black screen.

Doesn't surprise me. That was the result with absolutely every image that is not the KDE Neon image that came with the device.

Current status: Building the *second* cross-compiler for ARM64.

First one was to build #NetBSD.
Second is for building #uboot.

Let's see if this'll work on the Pinebook in the end… Might be that NetBSD is farther in supporting the Pinebook than Linux is 😉.
