Fukushima #Nuclear #Meltdown far from over as victims are herded back into radiated towns

The entire nuclear industry is out of control , every facet is stationed by spineless fobs looking like humans but no human attributes . Meanwhile the insidious monstrous IAEA NRC pick their noses , we need to end the IAEA and NRC and replace them with humans .

What's the state of our civilisation?

Virtually all past civilisations have faced this fate. Some recovered or transformed, such as the Chinese and Egyptian. Other collapses were permanent, as was the case of Easter Island. Sometimes the cities at the epicentre of collapse are revived, as was the case with Rome. In other cases, such as the Mayan ruins, they are left abandoned as a mausoleum for future tourists.

When climatic stability changes, the results can be disastrous, resulting in crop failure, starvation and desertification. The collapse of the Anasazi, the Tiwanaku civilisation, the Akkadians, the Mayan, the Roman Empire, and many others have all coincided with abrupt climatic changes, usually droughts.

_ In the past, collapse was confined to regions – it was a temporary setback, and people often could easily return to agrarian or hunter-gatherer lifestyles. For many, it was even a welcome reprieve from the oppression of early states. Moreover, the weapons available during social disorder were rudimentary: swords, arrows and o... show more

Linux / hardware question about Retpoline
Does anybody know if Retpoline is compatible with Skylake CPUs and further, how it behaves (is there any overhead or slowdown after activation, are there any downsides)?

#Trump is slowly losing control of himself

This isn’t the first time Donald Drumpf has made such a basic mistake. During the midterm elections his attempted endorsements resulted in a number of incorrect people being tagged as if they were candidates, including a television actor and a martial arts instructor. Before that, he tagged the wrong “Ivanka” while trying to reference his daughter. What we can’t figure here is why Drumpf simply guessed that Gillian Turner’s Twitter username was @JillianTurner without even looking at it first. He’s getting even sloppier than usual.

As much as he is writing on Twitter, or rather ranting, he can't write upon it generally. We all remember his "covfefe", and you can look at his daily Twitter feed that there'll always be rather poor syntactic sentence structures or a couple of spelling mistakes. Last but not least, there of course had to be some frightened Twitter users who were inadvertently dragged down his mel... show more

#Intel #Meltdown #Prozessoren #Security #Sicherheitslücken #Spectre #Spectre-NG
