Est ce qu'il faut rendre ca plus complexe à écrire?
Sur #diaspora où les posts sont longs ca peut avoir un sens. Sur #mastodon , si ca se termine par tout le monde qui ecrit en gras... Je suis moins fan.
However right off the bat I’m running into some trouble with connecting other services. When I click on the WordPress link, I get:
and clicking on the Twitter link gives me:
Invalid request, please go back and try again. Error Code: invalid_client Error Message: Unknown client_id.
Hey @diaspora* HQ, I am wondering if this is a temporary issue and I just have poor timing, or is this an ongoing “to be added” feature for sometime in the future? Is this an issue just with this specific Pod, or is it a broader issue throughout the Diaspora fediverse? Thanks for your help.
500 Internal server error. Our bad! Sorry about that. :(
Trying out the image capabilities of #Diaspora. I've selected 7 images from a recent visit to #Colonges-la-Rouge in the #Corrèze but it seems to have added only one image. I don't think this is a problem with #Diaspora because same thing happens when I upload images to #WordPress.
Another image added, but only one at a time. The photos are stored in #Googleimages so I wonder if this is a browser, Android or Google issue. I'm currently using an #ASUS #Z500M tablet.

Bonne chance.
A blue-top, silver and redesigned livery with a new corporate "Korean Air" logo featuring a stylized Taegeuk design was introduced on March 1, 1984, and the airline's name changed to Korean Air from Korean Air Lines. This livery was introduced on its Fokker F28 Fellowships and Boeing 747-300s. It was designed in cooperation between Korean Air and Boeing. In the 1990s, Korean Air became the first airline to use the new McDonnell Douglas MD-11 to supplement its new fleet of Boeing 747-400 aircraft; however, the MD-11 did not meet the airline's performance requirements and they were eventually converted to freighters. Some older 747 aircraft were also converted for freight service.

there will be a short outage this afternoon CET - sorry for the short notice - please be patient
Heute Nachmittag wird es einen kurzen Ausfall der dapor.net Services geben. Diesmal möchte gerne der Netzknoten ein Firmwareupdate haben ;)
Ich bitte um ein wenig Geduld
I don't know. I had just had enough. My feed was an endless scroll of tragedy, snark, and recycled crap. It might be time for an FB break. I need to explore #Diaspora more. It's nice to just scroll through my stream here and not see all the algorithm-generated ads and posts.
Mine is a troubled, wearied head. Probably best to lay it down and get some sleep.
A good night to you, #Diaspora.

On reported posts/comments
As a #podmin, I occasionally get reports of posts and comments that people find offensive. First let me offer sincere empathy; nobody should have to tolerate abuse and intolerance, and it's a shame that people feel the need to behave that way. More empathy would go a long way online, but unfortunately the medium isn't given to empathy.
What users may not understand is that while I can delete offensive material from my pod, there's nothing I can do to delete it from #Diaspora at large. That is to say, I can remove the content so that only users on my pod won't see it, but other Diaspora pods will continue to host a copy. This limits any podmin's ability to censor content, regardless of whether that content is deemed "bad" or not. This in turn allows podmins to censor content that is illegal in their pod's jurisdiction while allowing that content to persist in other jurisdictions.
My personal standard for removing content is fairly high, partially because the effect of removing content are limited to my own pod, partially because I think that people are best left to resolve their own problems, and partially because I lack the desire and time to fully investigate each incident to its fullest. Basically unless the content is illegal in my country (the USA) or violates my hosting providers terms and conditions, I'm disinclined to take action. Your podmin's standards may well differ from mine, and that's kind of the whole point of Diaspora, isn't it?
There's a downside to this approach, which is that unmoderated/undermoderated platforms like Diaspora can turn into cesspools of intolerance and hate. This consequence isn't lost on me, but I'm so far unaware of any way to prevent it without giving up free exchange of ideas that while unpopular are worthy of discussion. If you know of a better way please discuss it on Diaspora and on the discussion forums.
Best of luck to you all, and as the sidebar says, please be excellent to each other!
Many times I see posts that starting in English which is the most common ground to communicate among the others that end filled up in any others languages than English, along the fact that is unkindly and annoying, it goes in the opposite way of the inclusion which should be the reason why a social network exists.
It is true that Mastodon resolved it brilliantly but in Diaspora and Friendica you can't exclude topics because the language that means is up to the users take the task to avoid cross languages in any topic.
However I see there isn't any desire to avoid that behavior and people are quite careless about that, hence I think I will start to ignore all the people that do not respect this very simple, unwritten and basic rule.
